Wilson Academics We're here to help ease the burden parents carry regarding their child’s education with a flexibility that is hard to find in most private schools and ISP's. We are here to help the parent, not hinder them.

Wilson Academics is
a private school with an affidavit on file with the California Department
of Education. Formerly operating as Country Christian School since 1996,
Wilson Academics is expanding to include a small campus school,
an ISP Curriculum
and Tutoring Program and will continue our ISP online Recordkeeping Program
for homeschooling families across California.
What We Offer...
Our Campus School:
As an educational alternative, our campus school will far surpass
your expectations. Our curriculum approach is founded
on the Classical Education
model, otherwise known as the Trivium. Wilson Academics follows a literature-based
historical approach that draws in all other academic subjects for a full-spectrum
learning experience. We also utilize a solid mathematical program and a creation-based
science curriculum which blend with Classical Education perfectly. A Biblical
health curriculum is offered for specific grade levels.
Our campus school is currently offering two classes:
2nd – 4th grade: this class is composed of 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students. This level is considered the “Grammar Stage” where foundational building blocks are laid for learning factual information the child will use in later years. This is a natural and normal childhood period of gathering information and storing (memorizing) it for higher levels of learning in the future. Classes are held from 8:00AM to 12:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. Child care is available upon request, for an additional fee.
5th – 8th grade: this class is composed of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. This level is considered the “Logic Stage” where the child’s natural curiosity asks the question, “Why?” This stage provides the child with cause-and-effect and how different topics are interrelated and come together to form a logically-based framework of information. Instead of providing children with information, this stage allows them to begin thinking critically and working towards the “Why” conclusions they find through analytical thought processing. Classes are held from 12:30 to 4:30PM, Monday thru Friday. Child care is available upon request, for an additional fee.
A fee of $40.00 per family is due at the time of enrollment. Tuition for the campus school is $400.00 per month per student and includes all supplies, books and materials. This works out to $5.00 per hour for your child’s private school education.

ISP Curriculum and Tutoring Program:Our ISP Curriculum and Tutoring Program is loosely based on the California Charter School and ISP system. We provide families with Christian-based curriculum for their children and allow the parents to teach at home. Each week on Saturday, the students meet with tutors at our campus school and turn in their work for the week. Any areas of struggle are immediately addressed and the next week’s assignments are handed out. For parents who are unsure of educating their child alone or want a more structured option for homeschooling, we provide this through our ISP Curriculum and Tutoring Program. Students meet with their tutors for 1-2 hours each Saturday on a scheduled basis.
A fee of $40.00 per family is due at the time of enrollment. Tuition for the ISP Curriculum and Tutoring Program is $100.00 per month per student and includes all supplies, books and materials.
ISP Recordkeeping Program:Our belief in parental teaching stems from this: Every parent has a unique style and the perfect ability to teach their children, often supplying a home education far superior and safer than both public and private schools. However, keeping track of academic and attendance, dealing with school districts, as well as providing transcripts and diplomas may not be something a parent wishes to engage in. We take care of these issues for you through our Recordkeeping Program.
Our online forms allow parents to enroll and complete all necessary paperwork online. The quarterly reports parents submit showing academic grades and total days of attendance are due every 10 weeks and are available for instant submission online, making your reporting responsibility extremely easy.
Use any curriculum you like, or a combination. Each home educating family is unique and their teaching methods, supplies and curriculum will be different. This is one of the greatest blessings of home education. The required subjects need to be taught, but feel free to use what works best for you.
A fee of $40.00 per family is due at the time of enrollment. Our low fee of $25.00 per month is per FAMILY, not per child. Or, you can save with a one-time payment of $200.00 per year to pay in full.
Additional Benefits with Wilson Academics:
• Christian-based
but Non-denominational:
We are a conservative Christian-based school and business. The owners and employees
are Christians and attend various local churches. We do not present any specific
Christian denomination as we believe this is the parent’s role at home, to
shepherd their children according to their own spiritual beliefs. However,
your child will be exposed to Biblical history, Bible verse memorization and
biographies of godly people throughout history.
• Open Enrollment
Year Round for Grades 1-12:
Kindergarten is not legally required by the State of California, so we begin
record keeping in Grade 1.
• No Hidden Fees
• We Offer the Following
Payment Options:
Check, Money Order or Paypal Payments
Payments received after the 15th of the month incur a $5.00 late fee for each
week overdue.
• Help with Missing CUM Files or Transcripts:
If you have not kept a CUM file or transcripts for your children, we can help you create them. One of the most common questions we receive is how to make up for missing years of academic recordkeeping. Although we cannot put our name to the records, when you enroll we will walk you through the process of creating a professional looking CUM file complete with transcripts for the years you educated your child without an ISP. This is especially important if you have a child preparing for college enrollment.
• Diploma's Are Provided
for 6th, 8th, and 12th Grade Graduates:
We also supply duplicate transcripts in sealed envelopes to be sent to colleges, universities, the military or for employment purposes at no extra cost to the family.
• No Meetings to Attend:
Unlike many church affiliated ISP's, Wilson Academics does not require the
parent to take any special classes, nor do we require any special orientation
or monthly meetings. We also do not require the family to be affiliated with
any specific church.
• Learning Disabled
and Special Needs Students are Welcome!
Rebekah
Wilson has specialized in learning disabled and special needs students for
years. As a veteran homeschooler, Rebekah has educated her eight children using
unique methods and adaptations – all her children have moderate to severe learning disabilities and four are autistic, one with extreme ADHD as well. Rebekah’s two older children were warned by the local community college that they would never earn an AA college degree due to their severe learning disabilities – because of Rebekah’s unique ability to find ways around, over and through these disability hurdles and help her children” learn how to learn”,
her older two have gone on to excel in college. Rachel earned her AA at age
18 and is now 21 and in her final year of Bioethics, a specialized pre-med
program. Mary is 19 and has earned her BS degree in psychology; she is continuing
toward her masters in Early Childhood Development. Mary also holds two AA degrees,
one in General Education and another in Deaf Studies.
Learning disabled and special needs students may be challenging, but with the right approach they can excel beyond their label and diagnosis. No one can stop a child when they want to learn!
Rebekah returned to college and is working towards her final four courses to earn a dual BS degree in Elementary and Special Education; holding a current 4.0 GPA. Rebekah has passed the CBEST and Praxis II exam (special ed) and is qualified to teach in California public schools. Rebekah combines the best of a college education and vast homeschool experience to help families succeed in the educational arena.
